Terms of Service for Solara Hosting
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Welcome to Solara Hosting. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Agreement”). Please read them carefully.
Service Provision
Solara Hosting (“Company,” “we,” “us”) provides web hosting and related technical services (“Services”) to the customer (“Customer,” “you”).
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase Services.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
To maintain the integrity, security, and performance of our systems, you agree not to use Solara Hosting for any activity that is unlawful, abusive, or harmful, including but not limited to:
Illegal Activities: Hosting or distributing content that violates any applicable local, state, federal, or international law, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, pirated software (warez), or copyrighted material without authorization.
Resource Abuse: Activities that unreasonably consume server resources or degrade service for other customers, including crypto mining, botnets, or mass unsolicited email (SPAM).
Security Threats: Malware distribution, phishing websites, hacking attempts, denial-of-service attacks, or unauthorized testing (“stress testing”) of our infrastructure.
Solara Hosting reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether an activity violates this AUP.
Payments and Billing
Fees: All Services are billed in advance according to the selected plan.
Late Payments: Accounts with unpaid invoices more than 7 days past due may be suspended or terminated.
Refunds: A 30-day money-back guarantee is available for new hosting accounts only. Refunds do not apply to licenses, add-ons, or services already rendered.
Data and Backups
While Solara Hosting may perform routine backups for operational purposes, data integrity remains the sole responsibility of the Customer. We strongly recommend maintaining independent, off-site backups of all files and databases.
Solara Hosting is not liable for data loss resulting from hardware failure, software vulnerabilities, malicious attacks, or user error.
Uptime Guarantee
We strive to maintain 99.9% network uptime. In the event this threshold is not met due to unscheduled downtime, Customers may be eligible for service credits as outlined in our Service Level Agreement (SLA). Scheduled maintenance and events outside our reasonable control are excluded.
Termination
By Customer: You may cancel Services at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund unless otherwise stated.
By Solara Hosting: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services immediately for violations of this Agreement, including the AUP, or for non-payment. When feasible, notice will be provided, but immediate action may be taken to protect our systems or other customers.
Limitation of Liability
Solara Hosting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption, arising from the use or inability to use our Services.
Our total liability, for any claim arising under this Agreement, shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the affected Service during the one (1) month period preceding the claim.
Changes to Terms
Solara Hosting reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
